Rudi J du Plessis - Optometrist : Born and bred in the West Rand, Rudi attended Hoërskool Bastion in Krugersdorp and matriculated in 1993. He obtained his degree in Optometry at the then Rand's Afrikaans University (RAU) in 1997. Apart from being an enthusiastic optometrist, he also loves to sing and was part of the singing group Due Decim (Navy Red). He also loves to play tennis with his children and at club level, loves working on his own cars and is very handy in the kitchen. He used to own a take-away restaurant as well. Rudi is married to his school love Amanda and they have two children.
